TCWN Evening Series - Educational
The Goat Lady: Marie MacKay
This year The Connected Woman Association has taken on the initiative to assist HIV+ women in Kenya to not only provide a food source but a viable means of income to support themselves and their families.
We encourage TCWN members, colleagues and friends to purchase a goat as gifts for their friends and family to be given to an HIV+ woman in Kenya.
You can make a difference - buy a goat.
Here is the story of how it started with just one woman.
Whether you're a woman who's just starting out or a veteran in your industry, consider yourself warmly invited to join your sisters in business at our M&M.
This Month's Topic:
The Goat Lady: Marie MacKay
All it takes is just one person to make a difference. Marie MacKay is that person. Join us and hear first hand how one goat can change the lives of a family struggling to survive. Marie spends 4-6 months out of every year in Kenya assisting women and their families to become self-sustaining through the gift of a goat. Working with the Agricultural officials, Marie helps to ensure that the women are knowledgable in the care and raising of their goats,
