Community, Collaboration, Conversations and Connections are alive and well at The Connected Woman Association.
2023 marks 15 years of doing just that so we wanted to celebrate!
And we had a blast!
On October 25th, 2023 we were at the elegant Hycroft Manor in our LBD’s and cocktail attire. The letter “C” figures prominently in our logo and throughout our organization so it is no surprise that the evening had a Champagne Reception, Canapes and of course, Connections.
This social affair took place in the finely appointed main floor of an Edwardian mansion located in Shaughnessy with beautiful antiques, stained glass windows and grand central staircase. Each person in attendance had a choice of passed canapes, a complimentary glass of bubbly*, Look Book and A SPECIAL GIFT!
This event also coincided with the launch of our 15th Anniversary Anthology Book: “When Women Talk: Stepping Forward. Standing Up. Speaking Out.”
A single voice can make an impact – many voices can make change.
This book project has sprung from the belief that we all have a story to tell; there is someone who needs to hear it, and by working together, we can reach more people so that our stories can make a difference in someone’s life, career or business.
Wisdom and Insight become more valuable when shared. We hope this book will be your go-to read for inspiration, powerful anecdotes and actionable advice.

We were pleased to have as our guest speaker, the accomplished Shelly Lynn Hughes. She is the Founder of pursuit365 and Publisher of Fresh Magazine; a two-time Amazon best-selling author and a leader in her community. Over her 20+ years experience in the publishing and small business sector she’s learned one very important lesson to her entrepreneurial success and that is: connections count.
The 15th Anniversary Look Book
Events like these are wonderful opportunities to make connections with other people who may become clients or collaborators.
