Community, Collaboration, Conversations and Connections are alive and well at The Connected Woman Association. 2018 marks 10 years of doing just that so we want to celebrate!
It was a fabulous event!
October 25th, 2018 saw us at the elegant Hycroft Manor in our LBD’s and cocktail attire. Out of a roomful of 100 women, there were 5 men looking resplendent in their jackets and ties. The letter “C: figures prominently in our logo and throughout our organization so it was no surprise that the evening had Champagne, Canapes and Connections.
This social affair took place in the finely appointed main floor of an Edwardian mansion with beautiful antiques, culinary delights, bubbly and an intriguing step-and-repeat media wall for selfies. Each person in attendance received passed canapes, a glass of bubbly, dessert, a Look Book, prizes and their very own limited edition networking plate!

We were also pleased to have as our guest speaker, the accomplished Jill Earthy. Jill shared with us the value of connections, collaboration and community, and how they’ve been integral to her success.
The nationally acclaimed Lions Gate Chorus a capella group performed a selection from their repertoire.

The prestigious University Women’s Club of Vancouver (UWCV) opened the doors of its heritage Hycroft Manor so that TCWA could celebrate in style. Founded in 1907, UWCV is a member-funded society that promotes fellowship and advocates for women’s rights and education. A perfect match!
