THE CONNECTED WOMAN® values its past, present and future members, clients and colleagues. We have taken measures to provide information security in support of this value. We respect the privacy of every individual who visits our web site.

This is how we handle information we learn about you. Please be aware that the information we receive depends on what you do when you visit our site.

We will not collect or retain any information about you personally (that is your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address) unless you choose to provide it to us. Your information will not be sold or traded. Your information will not be provided to any third party, without your prior consent.

Information is collected by us in order to: clarify a client’s motivation, goals, history, trends and patterns, or to better meet our client’s needs. It is retained in support of that client’s potential future membership and relationship with THE CONNECTED WOMAN®; or to conduct surveys and assimilate information provided as a result of surveys, which are retained to create or refine future meetings, events or services and to more closely match our clients’ expectations. All client information is dated.

THE CONNECTED WOMAN® obtains client consent for any other use of its information (e.g., for a published article or public speaking presentation). In the event of subcontracting or other third party contracts, the other party(ies) must produce a privacy protection strategy that matches or exceeds the privacy policies and processes of THE CONNECTED WOMAN®.

THE CONNECTED WOMAN® responds to public enquiries about member privacy with courtesy and efficiency, ensuring that we accurately understand the nature of the enquiry and the expectation of the enquirer. We provide the enquirer with timeframe in which the enquirer may expect a response. This information is confirmed with the enquirer to verify understanding.

Client information is disposed in a way that prevents improper access (e.g., via shredder for paper and deletion of electronic records, including CD ROMs).
