THE CONNECTED WOMAN®  and THE CONNECTED WOMAN® ASSOCIATION (TCWA) respects and values the privacy of its past, present and future members, clients and colleagues. It is our general policy to collect and store only personal information that our members and visitors knowingly provide. We have taken measures to provide information security in support of this value.

We will not collect or retain any personal information from users browsing our website unless you choose to provide it to us. Your information will not be sold or traded. Your information will not be provided to any third party, without your prior consent. Only aggregate data – such as the number of hits per page or survey data is collected

Information that is submitted, is collected by us in order to: clarify a client’s motivation, goals, history, trends and patterns, or to better meet our client’s needs. It is retained in support of that client’s potential future membership and relationship with THE CONNECTED WOMAN® and TCWA or to conduct surveys and assimilate information provided as a result of surveys, which are retained to create or refine future meetings, events or services and to more closely match our clients’ expectations. All client information is dated.

Information provided through applications, registrations, or purchases are not disclosed to other parties. THE CONNECTED WOMAN® and TCWA does not disclose credit card account information provided by its members and customers other than the information needed for the sole purpose to obtain payment from the appropriate clearing house.

To gain access to members-only resources and personalization features on THE CONNECTED WOMAN® website, members and other users must provide a private code.

THE CONNECTED WOMAN® and TCWA obtain client consent for any other use of its information (e.g., for a published article or public speaking presentation). In the event of subcontracting or other third party contracts, the other party(ies) must produce a privacy protection strategy that matches or exceeds the privacy policies and processes of THE CONNECTED WOMAN® and TCWA.

This website contains links to other website of members, sponsors and partners. THE CONNECTED WOMAN® and TCWA has no control over and is not responsible for the privacy policies or content of such sites.

“The information provided by individual members to The Connected Woman® Association (TCWA) — including name, address, contact information and biography/resume — is collected for the purpose of distribution to all members of TCWA wherever any chapter of TCWA may exist, in oral, printed and electronic formats, including, but not limited to, the TCWA website.

The information collected by TCWA becomes a matter of public record once it is published on the website and TCWA cannot guarantee that the information will not be distributed beyond the control of TCWA.

I hereby acknowledge that the information provided by me is current and accurate and may be published on the TCWA website and I further acknowledge that I may be contacted in the future by persons having access to the TCWA website. I confirm that TCWA reserves the right to edit any and all material submitted by me.

I further stipulate that any photographs taken at or during TCWA events in which I or any members of my company are present may be used by TCWA without my further express and specific approval of any particular photograph and with no expectation of remuneration.

I agree that TCWA may provide my information to a third party for administrative or accounting purposes.”
